Grup Soteras was formed in 1917 with the opening of Restaurant Diagonal Can Soteras, by Jaume Soteras i Font, a restaurant with a large hearth in Barcelona, which marked a before and after in Catalan cuisine. 86 years later, it still has the same spirit as before, reinforced the celebration, for the past 20 years, of the traditional "Season of the Snail Cuisine" meeting between personalities of Catalan culture.
It is from the 60s when Grup Soteras grows as a Restaurant service Group, with the opening of Hotel Playafels in Castelldefels, a resort designed for relaxation and pleasure with the best service, quality and commitment, in constant evolution.
With the same objective, Hotel Ciudad de Castelldefels and Gran Hotel Rey Don Jaime were opened in the 70s and 90s, places where you can taste Catalan and fresh market cuisine at their restaurants: El Rebost, L'Horitzó andTorre Barona.
